Furniture and The White Stripes


Many people don't know that Jack White from the band The White Stripes started out by making custom furniture. He had his own furniture making company that ran for several years before he had success with his first band.

During this period Jack fabricated all types of furniture with the catch that it had to be in either black, white, or red upholstery. He had these colours at hand due to his own preferences. In the future this influenced the colour scheme seen with The White Stripes where the album art and the band's outfits are always with a red, black and white colour scheme.

Many people in the area have genuine custom furniture made by Jack White which contain hidden bonus items. By this I mean that Jack White placed record with bonus tracks inside the furniture. Hardcore fans are in search of these bonus items to add to their collection. However it's advisable that they be careful so they don't ruin the furniture.

In the future these furniture items will be worth more than just a relic of The White Stripes. They may be preserved for display at a rock museum or they may continue to be enjoyed as custom furniture. It just adds to the uniqueness of the band.
